How do I add product images in ERP?
Only use this method if image sync from PIM has failed and the image is needed immediately for report printing.
When to use this method
This method should only be used when image sync from PIM is not functioning and you need the image to appear on an exported report (e.g., invoice, P/O) right away. Always try to Reload Product Images from PIM before you do this.
Note: If your current report templates don't have space for images and you need them, please reach out to your Account Manager for help.
Note: All product images—including for services, materials, semi-SKUs, or items not sold on external channels—should still be added in PIM whenever possible. They will not go on sales channels unless you actively add them there.
Warning: ERP image uploads are for emergencies only and cannot be done in bulk.
Warning: ERP uploads are not a replacement for proper image management.
Open the ERP module
-
From the main menu, navigate to ERP to access the product list.
Search for the individual item
- Go to Inventory > Product Management.
-
Use the search bar to locate the specific SKU.
Caution: Images cannot be uploaded in bulk—only one SKU at a time.
Access the product detail view
-
Click on the SKU to open the product detail page.
Open the image uploader
-
In Edit mode, click on the pencil icon in the blank image field.
Upload the image
-
Click or drag & drop in the grey box to upload the image.
-
File types accepted:
.jpg
or.png
.
Note: It is not required to use high-res images as these will not be the same images being sent to sales channels, and they will only appear as small thumbnails on exported documents.
Note: There is no option to use a weblink or image hosting URL in ERP.
Save and confirm the image
-
Click OK to apply the changes.
-
The product image will appear automatically, and there is no need to save the record again.
Note: If the SKU is part of a saved Substyle (if you use a hierarchical SKU structure with Style Master), other SKUs in that Substyle will automatically update. But you cannot enter images at the Substyle level or in bulk, as mentioned above.
Important considerations
Note: Images uploaded directly to ERP will not sync back to PIM.
Note: This image will only be visible in ERP and on reports—not on any external channels.
Note: If you'd like to see thumbnails of your images in your list and inquiry screens, check out this guide.
