How do I split shipments with multiple items?
Here's a guide explaining how to split shipments in order to process items separately.
There are multiple reasons one would split a shipment. Mostly, it would be to package items separately or to cancel part of an order.
To do this, first go to WMS > Sales Order > View Orders. Search for the order you wish to split and click Search. Click on the order using the link in the Channel Order ID column.
From the Order Details Page, click on the Shipments tab. Click the arrow to the left of the shipment to expand your view.
Add the quantity next to the item(s) you want to move to the new shipment (in the Selected column). You will notice the button New Shipment is now blue (in the above screenshot, it is grey and inactive) and the number in the Remaining Qty column automatically adjusts. Once you're done selecting items to move from this order into a new one, click the New Shipment button.
Once you do, the current shipment will be divided in two.
You can split shipments into more than just two - to create another shipment, just follow the above steps again.
