How can I create a Sales Order directly from the customer page?

Here are the steps to quickly generate a new Sales Order for a customer right from their profile in ERP.

To streamline the order creation process, you can generate a Sales Order directly from the Customer page in ERP. This allows you to bypass the need to manually search for the customer again within the Sales Order module.

Steps:

  • In ERP, go to CRM > Customers.

  • Locate and click on the existing customer for whom you want to create an order using the sort and filter tools. Click Apply.

Tip: You can do this for a new customer you just added. However, you need to save that new customer to the system first.

  • On the Customer Management screen, click the Actions dropdown.

  • Select Create Sales Order from the dropdown options.

  • You'll be taken to the Sales Order Management screen in Add mode, with the customer information already populated.

  • Add SKUs to the Sales Order and make any necessary adjustments.

  • When you're finished, click Save.

  • Click Yes.

This feature can also be used immediately after creating a new customer, making it easy to start an order workflow from the same screen.
