How can I remove inactive items from sales channels?
Here's a guide on how to tidy up your channel management by removing product that is no longer active.
First, head to the PIM module.
Next, go to Channel Listing. Click on whatever channel you want to clean up data for.
With Product selected, click into the search bar.
In the Status field, clear Active and select Inactive.
Note: You can also add the status of Discontinued to the search if that is a status you use for items. This will give you a larger search result.
Click Search.
Select all and click Remove.
This will stop our system from managing the selected products for this channel. According to our system, these products are no longer listed on these channels. However, the user still needs to remove the items from the channel directly.
Warning: Doing the above will not remove the items from the channel. You must - after following these steps - remove the items from the channel directly.
