How do I add a credit limit to a customer?
Here is a guide on how to set up credit limit(s) to desired customer profiles.
Certain customers may be permitted to order from you on credit - however, there is likely a limit to that credit. Here is how you can apply that.
First, in ERP, go to CRM > Customers.
Locate the customer you wish to update (using the search and filter tools), click Apply, and click on the customer.
Make sure you are in Edit mode.
In the Accounting tab, click the dropdown for Validate Credit and select CreditLimit. Enter the limit in the Credit Limit field.
Click Save.
Click Yes.
Now, whenever a customer with this setting turned on places an order that will exceed their credit limit, that order will be put on Hold.
