How do I add a prepayment restriction to a customer?
Here is a guide on how to set up a prepayment requirement from a particular customer.
For certain customers, you may want to impose a restriction requiring they prepay for orders. This is easy to do.
First, in ERP, go to CRM > Customers.
Locate the customer you wish to update (using the search and filter tools), click Apply, and click on the customer.
Make sure you are in Edit mode.
In the Accounting tab, click the dropdown for Validate Credit and select Prepayment.
Click Save.
Click Yes.
Now, whenever a customer with this restriction places an order without a prepayment (or if there is a prepayment for less than the order amount), that order will be put on Hold.
