How do I change the expiration of a Payment Portal link?
Here’s a guide for adjusting the default number of days before a Payment Portal link expires in DigitBridge.
If you need to change how long a Payment Portal link stays active before it expires, this can be adjusted in the system’s default settings.
1. Navigate to Payment Portal Settings
From the main dashboard, go to:
Admin Tools > System Settings > System Parameters Setup.
In the Default Settings tab,
Scroll down to Payment Portal.
2. Update the Expiration Period
Locate the field labeled Payment Link Expiration Days. Enter the number of days you want the link to remain active after it's generated.
Note: The default expiration days is set to 30.
Tip: Consider a shorter expiration window if your business deals with time-sensitive payments, or a longer one if your customers often need more time to respond.
3. Save and Refresh
After entering your preferred expiration period:
Click Save.
Click Yes.
Log out and log back in to ensure the change takes effect.
Once this is set, all newly generated Payment Portal links will expire based on the updated number of days.
