How do I configure 3PL system settings in ERP?

Here's how you can set your 3PL fulfillment rules, warehouse routing, and inventory aging preferences in DigitBridge.

Note: This guide is for 3PL providers (as opposed to operators who use a 3PL solution).

First, you must enable 3PL in DigitBridge (this likely was done during onboarding, but it never hurts to check)
  • Navigate to System Parameter Setup
In ERP, go to Admin Tools > System Settings > System Parameter Setup.

  • Click on the 3PL tab
On the left-hand side of the screen, select 3PL to access 3PL-related configuration options.

  • Set Fulfillment Rules
You will see four toggle options under 3PL Fulfillment Rule:

    • Apply 3PL Fulfillment Rule Only:

      • On: Only SKUs flagged for 3PL fulfillment will be routed to 3PL.

      • Off: All SKUs can be considered for both in-house and 3PL fulfillment.

    • Auto Import 3PL Documents:

      • On: Automatically imports documents (e.g., tracking info or packing slips) from 3PL providers.

      • Off: You must upload or import these documents manually.

    • Auto 3PL Invoice After Agency Shipped:

      • On: An invoice is automatically created once the 3PL confirms shipment.

      • Off: You will need to generate invoices manually.

    • Transfer All SKUs to Pick Ticket / Route Unfulfilled SKUs to the Default Warehouse:

      • On: All SKUs on an order will be routed to pick ticket generation. If any SKUs cannot be fulfilled by 3PL, they are rerouted to the default warehouse.

      • Off: No rerouting occurs; only available SKUs are sent to pick ticket.

  • Set 3PL Warehouse Configuration

    • Default 3PL Warehouse:
Choose the warehouse you want to designate as your primary 3PL warehouse (e.g., "3PL").

    • Route Warehouse for 3PL:
[Definition needed – please check with the team.]
This setting may determine the fallback or routing behavior for specific fulfillment conditions.

  • Set 3PL Aging Range

    • Use this section to define how long inventory has been in the 3PL warehouse.

    • Leave the Days From field blank to start from day 0.

    • Enter a value in Days To to define the range (e.g., 0–365).

    • Add additional rows if needed (e.g., 366–blank to show older inventory).

  • Save and apply settings
    Click Save.

  • Click Yes.

  • Log out when prompted. Logging back in ensures your new settings are applied.
