How do I create a factory in DigitBridge?
Here is a guide on setting up factory codes and warehouses for manufacturing.
To begin using DigitBridge's manufacturing modules, you’ll need to create at least one factory and assign the appropriate warehouses to it. This foundational setup ensures all materials and finished goods flow correctly through the production process.
1. Access System Settings to Add a Factory
- In ERP, go to Admin Tools > System Setting > System Code Entry.
2. Once on the System Code Entry screen:
-
Scroll through the options on the left-hand side until you find Factory Code.
-
Click Factory Code to open the factory list.

In the main panel, you can now add new factory codes. For each factory:
-
Code: A short, unique identifier (e.g., "LA" for Los Angeles).
-
Description: A longer name or label (e.g., "Los Angeles Main Factory").
-
Product Warehouse: Select from existing warehouses where completed products will be stored.
-
Material Warehouse: Select the warehouse where raw materials will be stored for production.
-
Semi-Warehouse: Select a warehouse for in-progress items or components not yet completed.
Tip: These designations ensure materials and products move through the right inventory lifecycle stages — from material to semi-finished to completed product.
4. Save Your Changes
- Click Save once complete.
Note: It’s perfectly acceptable for all three warehouse fields to be assigned to the same warehouse, depending on your operational setup.
Each dropdown pulls from your existing warehouse list, so be sure to set those up first.
Once you've entered and saved your factory codes, you’re ready to start building BOMs and WIPs in the Manufacturing module.
