Here you will learn how to create a product SKU in a pre-existing Style within the ERP module.
Adding a new product should always take place in the ERP module.
When you want to add a new product within an existing Style (or substyle), you’ll go to the left-hand menu bar and click Inventory > Create Products. If you want to create a non-inventory product (e.g., a supply or service), you will not do that here. Learn how to do this in this user guide.
There are three different ways to create a product: Add Style Master / Children, Add Product SKUs, and Add Prepack SKUs. We'll tackle Add Product SKUs in this article. Select that option, then click Next at the bottom right of the page.
Select Attributes
For this example, we want to create a new size for an already existing style.- Style will be whichever pre-existing style you want to add a SKU to. Note the magnifying glass icon in case you want to search rather than type.
- Substyle will be whichever pre-existing sub-style you want to add a SKU to. Once this is entered, the Sync Substyle toggle will appear.
- You want to make sure that Sync Substyle is toggled on so that any future changes made at the Style or Substyle level will impact all individual SKUs. Otherwise, changes will be made to everything except this particular SKU.
- SKU is the new SKU you assign to this product. Mirror the existing SKUs in this Substyle. Make sure the SKU level value is available for this class. See guide: How do I set up sizes in DigitBridge?
- Inventory Type determines what kind of item this is: a physical product, a service, or other type. We are creating a product.
- Click Next.
Caution: When entering the Substyle, the Style must still be present. When entering the SKU, the Style and Substyle must still be present.
Example:
- Style: TSHIRT
- Substyle: TSHIRT-GREEN (instead of just GREEN)
- SKU: TSHIRT-GREEN-XS (instead of us XS)

Here you can make sure everything looks the way you want it to before moving on by clicking next.
Generate SKUs
Once you’re certain everything looks right, you can go ahead and click Generate.
Once you’ve done that, the SKUs, Substyle, and Style in the first three columns become clickable and your item has been successfully added. Clicking on the SKU will take you to the Inventory Management page for that item, which we will go over in the Inventory article.
