How do I edit e-commerce Sales Orders?
Here are instructions for how to make changes to an e-commerce S/O.
While it is not common for e-commerce orders to need manual adjustments, it can happen. When it does, there are a few steps you will need to take.
First, find your S/O by going to Sales > Sales Order Management ERP.
Search and locate your order using the sort and filter tools. Click Apply.
Caution: Please be aware that you can only adjust or otherwise edit S/Os that have not been sent to the warehouse yet and are in a status of Pending.
Click on the S/O you want to update. This will take you to the Sales Order Management screen. In the General section, you will notice that Feed to Channel is turned on. This means that shipment data is automatically moving from DigitBridge to the channel.
Change the process mode to Edit. Adjust one of the items and save the order.
You will notice that Feed to Channel is still on. This means that your order adjustment is going to automatically update in the channel without manual intervention and that the updated shipment information will update automatically as well.
A notification will appear warning you that any changes within the order lines (this refers to the SKU, order quantity, and warehouse) will disable automatic feedback to the channel and that you will have to manually provide this updated information to the channel.
Click Save.
Click Yes.
It is absolutely imperative that you make the corresponding adjustments in the channel.
