How do I enable or "turn on" package options to use in shipping?
Here's a guide for how to select what package types will be available to users when fulfilling orders.
To make specific package types available during order fulfillment, you'll need to enable them in the Package Selection area of WMS.
-
Go to: WMS > Administration > Shipping > Package Selection.
-
Review Available Carrier Tabs:
Each shipping carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS, Purolator, DHL, Temu) will have its own tab.
Click through the tabs to see the list of standard package types offered by each carrier—such as FedEx One Rate Envelope, UPS Express Box, or USPS Flat Rate Box—including dimensions. -
Select Relevant Packages:
Check the boxes next to any packages your team uses for fulfillment. You can select packages across multiple carriers. -
Enable Custom Packages:
The last tab, Custom Package, shows any custom boxes, mailers, or bags you’ve created in WMS.
Select the custom package types you'd like to enable for use.
Note: Custom packages must be created first before they’ll appear here.
-
Save Your Changes:
Once you've selected all relevant standard and custom packages, click Save Changes.
Only packages selected and saved in this screen will appear as options during shipping.
