How do I enable tree view for P/O lines?

Here’s how to enable tree view formatting for Purchase Order lines based on Style and Substyle hierarchy.

This guide is only relevant for users who utilize a hierarchical SKU structure. If you're not sure what that is, check out this guide: What is a hierarchical SKU structure and how is it different from a traditional SKU structure?

Tree view allows Purchase Order lines to display SKUs in a nested format, grouped under their corresponding style and sub-style. This view is helpful for businesses that use structured product hierarchies and want a cleaner, grouped layout when reviewing or managing P/O contents.

As a default, the SKUs show up one by one, without any sort of organization into groups.

To enable tree view for P/O lines:

  • In ERP, go to: Admin Tools > System Settings > System Parameters Setup.

  • S/O & Invoice
  • Scroll to the P/O Settings section and toggle on Enable Tree View for P/O Lines.
  • Click Save.

  • Click Yes.

  • You'll be prompted to log out and log back in to apply your changes. Click Yes, log out.

Back on that same purchase order, you can now see the SKUs organized by Substyle on collapsible lines. Click the arrow next to a Substyle to expand and see all of the SKUs beneath.
