How do I import data into ERP?

Here's how you can import product information, order history, etc. into the ERP module.

It is quite easy to import data from a .csv file into DigitBridge's ERP. First, in the left-hand sidebar, go to Import/Export > Import Center.

Determine what kind of data you will be importing: Invoices, Vendor info, Sales Orders, etc. For this example, let's say you are importing product data. Select Inventory.

Imports must have column headers that exactly match the fields in DigitBridge. An easy way to ensure this is to use the built-in template provided for you by clicking the Action button and selecting Download Default Template. This will automatically download a template .csv file for whichever type of import you are attempting. If the Type field is blank, you will be prompted to select one.

Enter your product data into the spreadsheet and save it.

To import it with all of the information added, you can either drag & drop a file into the grey box or click into the box to open a finder window where you can search for your file. Once the file has been added, click Import

Click Yes.

You will get a notification in the upper right-hand corner letting you know that the system has received the file and is in the process of importing it. This does not necessarily mean that the import itself was successful, just that the upload has gone through.

It is important to note that this feature works both to import new items as well as to update existing ones. For new items, you must always have a ProductTitle and SubTitle. If you are making updates to existing SKUs, keep the SKU column and the columns you are making adjustments to, and delete all other columns before importing.

Be aware that if any cells are blank, you run the risk of overwriting existing data. If the column is removed, there is no risk of this happening.

You can also see a log of your import history by navigating to Import/Export > Import Log. Click Apply to see a log of all imports.
