How do I manage shipments in ERP?

Here is information on how to search, add, edit, or delete a shipment in the ERP Module.

For all of the below, you will start in the ERP Module and go to Sales in the left-hand sidebar.

Note: After a shipment is created, DigitBridge will automatically create a related invoice.

Search Shipments

To search shipments, go to Sales > Shipment Management.

You can click Apply to see all shipments and use the Sort and Filter tools to customize what you see. You can also use the Search by function to choose your search parameters and look up specific shipments.

If you click on a particular Shipment, that will open the Shipment Management screen. Under the Pick & Pack tab, you'll see a box over to the right. This essentially is a window view into the WMS information for this shipment, showing you the package ID assigned to the order in WMS.

Click the plus sign to see more details.

Add a Shipment

Shipments are automatically created when you create a sales order and mark it ReadyToShip. This sends it to the warehouse for you to start the fulfillment process. It is not best practice ever to manually create a shipment in ERP unaffiliated with any S/O.

Edit a Shipment

To Edit a Shipment, select the shipment from the Shipment List screen that you want to edit. Make sure you are in Edit Mode

Make any adjustments you need to make on the ERP side (any inventory or shipping carrier adjustments should be made in WMS) and click Save.

Click Yes.

Delete a Shipment

Shipments must be canceled or voided in WMS. Those changes will be reflected in ERP.
