How do I manually add stock to a new item without receiving a Purchase Order first?

Here is how you can add inventory for a brand new item that hasn't yet been received via P/O.

This will not often occur, but there may be a time where you have a new item that has been created in ERP and synced to WMS that hasn't been received in a P/O yet but still needs to have stock added. An example of this might be if you change an existing item's name and SKU and want to enter it as a new item.

First, you will go to Inventory > Audit. Enter in the location you wish to add stock to. Click Search

Click Add Item.

Enter the SKU you want to add and either type in the quantity or click the plus sign until you arrive at the right number. Under Reason, select Adjustment. Click +Add.

If you are adding multiple SKUs and using the same quantity for each, select Keep Quantity. This will keep the quantity the same after you Click +Add.

Keep doing this until you've added everything you want, then click Cancel or X. When prompted, click Leave

Click Search again.

Now, your new inventory will appear.
