How do I manually create an invoice?
Here is a quick and easy guide to manually creating an invoice in ERP.
Typically, you want to follow these steps for invoice creation: Manually create or automatically receive an S/O, mark it ReadyToShip, fulfill the order in WMS, mark Shipped, then an invoice is automatically generated in ERP.
However, if an order is made up entirely of non-stockable items (for example, a service or something that isn't physically stocked), no shipment is needed. This is an example of a time when you would manually create an invoice. If a non-stockable product is included as part of an order with physical goods, you should still follow the above steps.
In ERP, go to Sales > Invoice Processing.
Click Add.
On the Invoice Management screen, in Add mode, enter in the Customer # and all other relevant info, including SKUs and quantity of items. Click Save when you're done.
Click Yes.
You will note that upon saving, an Invoice Number will be created.
Note: This will bypass the creation of a shipment.
