How do I manually push order data back and forth between ERP and WMS?
Here is a guide on how to push sales orders, shipments, purchase orders, etc. from ERP to WMS and back again.
When information is created or updated in DigitBridge, it can take some time for it to send back and forth between ERP and WMS (in both directions).
Pulling orders from ERP into WMS
Scenario: The order has been created in ERP and the status is Ready to Ship.
In WMS, go to Sales Order > View Orders. In the upper right-hand corner, you can see the button Sync from ERP. Click it.
This will pull all orders from ERP into WMS that are ready to fulfill but haven't loaded yet.
Pushing shipments from WMS into ERP
Scenario: The order has been fulfilled and you need an invoice right away (invoices are automatically created when the order is shipped, but it can take a few minutes).
In WMS, go to Sales Order > Shipments. Search for and locate the shipment(s) you want to push to ERP (in order to create the invoice(s)). Select them and click Sync Shipments to ERP.
This will push the shipment into ERP, creating an invoice associated with that order.
Note: This applies to shipments both for traditional orders and for consignment orders processed as warehouse transfers.
