How do I mark a product as unsellable in DigitBridge?

Here is a guide for marking a product as unsellable to prevent it from being included in Sales Orders.

If your business separates materials and finished goods—like a jewelry brand that purchases chains and charms but only sells assembled products—you can control which items appear in Sales Orders by marking them as unsellable. This ensures raw materials are not accidentally sold to customers.

Note: Marking a product as unsellable prevents it from being added to any Sales Order. This is typically used for materials, components, or raw goods that are not sold directly to customers.

This can be done in two ways:

Individual Product Screen

In ERP, go to Inventory > Product Management.

Search for the item you want to edit and click Apply. Or click Add to create a new item.

On the Inventory Management screen (in Edit mode), under Product Detail, scroll to the Product Control section. Locate the Unsellable toggle. Switch the toggle to On. Click Save.

Click Yes.

Tip: This setting is helpful for items like components or raw materials that should never appear on customer-facing Sales Orders.

Bulk Update Tool

Navigate to Inventory > Bulk Update Product.

Use filters to search for the items you want to update (e.g., all chains, gemstones, components). Click Apply.

Click Attributes.

In the Attributes list, find Unsellable and select it. Click the X button.

Select All items. Toggle Unsellable to "On." Click Save.

Click Yes.

Note: This method is useful for updating multiple SKUs at once.

Sorting and Filtering by Unsellable

To help manage your product catalog more efficiently, the Unsellable field can also be used as a filter or sorting column in list views like Inventory List.

To filter for unsellable products:

  1. Navigate to the Inventory List.

  2. Use the More Filters panel.

  3. Scroll down to the Exclude Unsellable field and toggle it on if you wish not to see any unsellable items.

  4. Click Apply.

You can also sort by this column to group sellable vs. unsellable SKUs.
