How do I record the final goods yield?
Completing your WIP and updating inventory
Once all in-house and outsourced production steps are complete, you'll use the Finish Goods Yield function to finalize the job and update your inventory with the finished products.
Where to Record Final Goods Yield
In ERP, go to Manufacturing > Finish Goods Yield
Or, from a specific WIP, click Action > Finish Goods Yield
Select the WIP Job
Use the filters to search by WIP Job Number, SKU, or other criteria.
Click Apply to load the job.
Enter Yield Information
You’ll see a list of all finished goods associated with this WIP. For each:
-
Enter the Yield Quantity (how many finished goods were successfully produced)
-
Optionally adjust the Yield Warehouse (defaults to the WIP’s Product Warehouse)
This step ensures your inventory is updated with the actual finished quantity, not just the planned amount.
Save the Yield Record
Once all data is entered, click Save. The finished goods will be added to the assigned warehouse and the WIP will be marked as complete.
Note:
Only finished goods with all steps fully completed (in-house and outsourced) can be finalized. Use “Start All Process” and “Finish All Process” first if needed.
