Creating a Class
This - like the creation of any new product - will take place in ERP. In ERP, go to Admin Tools > System Settings > Class Code Entry.
Here you will see your existing classes. To create a new one, click Add Line.
Type in the name and description of the class. In this example, each class is essentially an industry. If you operate in only one industry, you can be more specific (apparel example: tops, bottoms, etc.). Check out this guide for more info on how to best choose your classes.
Assign color to the class (if applicable). Check out this guide on how to add colors.
Assign size to the class (if applicable). Check out this guide on how to add sizes.
Assign width to the class (if applicable). Check out this guide on how to add widths.
Assign length to the class (if applicable). Check out this guide on how to add lengths.
When you're all finished, click Save.
Click Yes.
Now when creating new products, you can assign them to classes.
