Here's a guide on how to set up colors and assign them to a class so you can get your product details set up.
In this guide, we will go over creating color codes and assigning them to classes.
Creating Color Codes
Just like product creation starts in ERP, so does the creation of product attributes. In ERP, go to Admin Tools > System Settings > System Code Entry.
On the left, select Color Pattern Code. This will show you all the existing color codes and whether or not they are in use. To add a new one, click Add Line.
Scroll all the way to the bottom to find your new blank line. Enter in the color(s) you wish to add. Click Save when you are done.
Click Yes.
Note: After clicking Add Line, make sure you scroll to the bottom of the page (it will not appear at the top of the list, but at the bottom).
Assigning Color Codes
Once you've added your codes, it's time to assign them to the proper class(es). Still in ERP, go to Admin Tools > System Settings > Class Code Entry (For instructions on how to create classes, check out this guide).
Locate the class you wish to add your new color(s) to. Click the plus sign under Color in the appropriate row.
Click Select Color Pattern Codes.
Select the colors you want to be available for this class. Click Select.
Your new colors will appear on the Color Pattern Codes list. Click Save.
Click Save again.
Click Yes.
Now. when creating new products within a certain class, you will be able to choose from these colors.
