Here's a guide on how to set up lengths and assign them to a class so you can get your product details set up.
In this guide, we will go over creating length codes and assigning them to classes.
Creating Length Codes
Just like product creation starts in ERP, so does the creation of product attributes. In ERP, go to Admin Tools > System Settings > System Code Entry.
On the left, select Length Code. This will show you all the existing length codes and whether or not they are in use.
To add a new one, enter it in the blank line on the grid. As you enter each length name, a new line will appear beneath for you to add another one if you'd like. Click Save when you are done.
Click Yes.
Assigning Length Codes
Once you've added your codes, it's time to assign them to the proper class(es). Still in ERP, go to Admin Tools > System Settings > Class Code Entry (For instructions on how to create classes, check out this guide).
Locate the class you wish to add your new length(s) to. Click the plus sign under Length in the appropriate row.
Here, you will see the existing length codes. For new ones, click Select Length Codes.
Select the lengths you want to be available for this class. Click Select.
Your new lengths will appear on the Length Codes list. Click Save.
Click Save again.
Click Yes.
Now. when creating new products within a certain class, you will be able to choose from these lengths.
