How do I ship using the simple workflow?
Here is a guide on how to ship/fulfill orders if you use "Simple Flow" and do not utilize scanners in your fulfillment process.
Make sure you first have your orders queued and your pick lists printed. There are two options here: one if you are generating your shipping labels in DigitBridge, and one if you are not.
Shipping Labels from DigitBridge
In WMS, go to Sales Order > View Orders.
Use the filters to narrow your search or just click Search to find all available orders.
This will bring you to the Order Details screen. Go to the Shipments tab and click on the arrow to the left of the shipment to expand it.
Update the Selected column to match Remaining Qty - once you do, the Remaining Qty column will zero out and the rows will turn yellow, indicating that all the items have been selected for shipment. Click Export PDF when you're ready.
Click Shipping Label.
This opens the Export Shipping Label PDF page, where you'll be prompted to enter the weight of your package (if your SKUs already have weights assigned, this will populate automatically). Enter the service and package for the order. If you'd like to shop around for a better rate, click Shop Around (and check out this guide). Click Export Shipping Label PDF.
Note: You must enter the service first. The package dropdown won't appear if you don't.
Your shipping label will be downloaded as a PDF for you to print on your label printer.
To print your packing slip, from the Order Details screen > Shipments tab, click Export PDF > Packing Slip. This will download your packing slip as a PDF for you to print.
Once the shipping label has been printed, the order will be considered "shipped" by the system.
Shipping Labels Outside of DigitBridge
In WMS, go to Sales Order > Shipments.
Use the filters to narrow your search or just click Search to find all available orders.
Click on the gear icon to the right of the row of the order you wish to ship. Click Mark Shipped & Cancel & Hold.
In the Mark Shipped tab, fill out the required fields: Service, Package, Tracking Number, and Ship Date. The service and package are less relevant since your shipping label is being created outside of DigitBridge, but the tracking number should at least be correct so that the invoice created has accurate information. Click Mark Shipped.
Click Yes.
This shipment is now considered "shipped" by the system.
