How do I troubleshoot the QuickBooks Connector?

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to use the QuickBooks Connector.

Step 1: Open QuickBooks | Open the QuickBooks application from your desktop, app folder, or menu bar.

Select the company name and click Open.

Log in with your User ID and Password. Click OK.

This will open up the QuickBooks homepage. 

Step 2: Open QRemote Server | From your desktop, app folder, or menu bar, open the QRemote Server.

On the left-hand side of your menu bar, you will see a small up arrow. Click on it, then right click on the QRemote Server icon.

Click Show QRemote Server.

This opens the Server page. This typically is what you want this screen to look like - with no red text in the Event Log or Connection Log (disregard the notice at the bottom of the window).

Note: QRemote for QuickBooks Server may require restarting occasionally when attempting to submit data to QuickBooks.

Step 3: Open the Connector | Open the QuickBooksConnector from your desktop, app folder, or menu bar.

This will open the Connector, which will automatically run a test. You'll see large amounts of text appear both in the Connector window (1) and the Server window (2). 

If no red text appears in either window, everything is working as expected. If red text does appear, you must: quit the connector, quit the server, and quit QuickBooks. Reopen and attempt the test again. If it fails a second time, please contact the DigitBridge team.
