How do I update in-house completion quantities?
Mark progress on production steps completed internally
As production proceeds, you can track how many units have been finished for each in-house step in your Work in Progress (WIP) job. This allows you to monitor progress and trigger downstream steps when appropriate.
Navigate to the WIP Job
In ERP, go to Manufacturing > WIP. Use the Apply button to search for and open the WIP job you want to update.
Locate the In-House Step
From the Processes tab, review the list of steps. Identify the row(s) where the Type is In-House Production.
Open the Update Screen
Click the Action button at the top right of the WIP screen and select Update In-House Finish Qty.
This will open a modal showing all in-house steps across the WIP job.
Enter Completion Quantities
In the Actual Finish Qty column, enter how many units were completed for each process step. You may also enter:
-
Finish Date: The date the step was completed.
-
Note: Any comments about the update.
Only update rows for steps that have actually been completed or partially completed.
Save the Changes
Click Save to record the progress. These updates will recalculate your WIP's overall completion status.
Tip
Updating in-house quantities periodically helps you keep accurate tabs on production velocity and is required before you can mark finished goods yield.
