How do I use the Inbound & Outbound Report in the 3PL Client Portal?

CLIENT GUIDE: Here’s a guide for viewing your incoming and outgoing inventory activity to stay on top of warehouse movement.

The Inbound & Outbound Report in the 3PL Client Portal provides a comprehensive view of all goods flowing into and out of your 3PL provider’s warehouse(s). It includes detailed timestamps, quantities, warehouse assignments, and document links for each movement—making it your go-to report for tracking real-time logistics activity.

Use this report to:

  • Verify inbound PO receipts and outbound shipments

  • Track movement by date, SKU, or warehouse

  • Reconcile inventory adjustments with your internal records

  • Confirm completed vs. pending logistics events


🚪 Where to Find the Report

  1. Log in to the 3PL Client Portal

  2. Click Reports from the left-hand navigation menu

  3. Select Inbound & Outbound Report


🔍 How to Use the Filters

Before running the report, choose your desired filters:

  • Warehouse: Choose one or more warehouse locations

  • Movement Type: Select Inbound, Outbound, or All

  • Date Range: Narrow down to a specific reporting period

  • SKU / Product: Filter by product code or name

  • Document Number: Use PO, SO, or Shipment ID if known

Click Search to load results.


📋 What the Report Shows

Each row in the report will display key movement information:

  • Date & Time

  • Movement Type (Inbound/Outbound)

  • Document No. (P/O or S/O or shipment)

  • SKU

  • Product Name

  • Warehouse

  • Quantity

  • Reference Document Link (clickable)


📤 Download the Report

You can click the Download button to export the results to Excel or CSV.
Ideal for:

  • Sharing with supply chain or finance teams

  • Creating reconciliation reports

  • Spot-auditing shipments or receipts


💡 Tips

📦 Inbound entries represent products received into the warehouse via P/Os
🚚 Outbound entries represent products shipped from the warehouse via Sales Orders
🧮 Use this report alongside your Inventory Report for accurate flow-based analysis
