How do I view customer transactions?

Here's a guide to viewing customer transaction history in the ERP module.

Users can view transaction history from three places. 

From Customer Transactions

Go to CRM > Customer Account Inquiry.

Note: You can also reach this report via the Reports column on the Accounts Receivable page.

Set your date range, then click Apply.

You'll see that information from all customers has been included in the reporting. Use the Search by field and/or More Filter tool to narrow your results if you prefer.

Below is the top half of the Summary view (Transactions). In the Breakdown section, click Show More to show an expanded view of each row. Click Show Less to collapse that view. Under the Transactions Chart, click the arrow on the right to view the rest of the color key.

Lower on the page, you'll see the Summary of Amounts. In the Breakdown section, click Show More to show an expanded view of each row. Click Show Less to collapse that view. In the Paid by breakdown, you can scroll to see the various Paid by options. Under the Amounts Breakdown chart, hover over one of the areas below each bar (indicated in an orange box) to see what that bar represents ($Invoice, $Balance, etc.).

You can also view the report in Detail (showing every transaction line by line sorted by most recent),

by Customer (showing each customer by row),

Tip: Click Charts to hide the charts and only show the table.

by Invoice (showing each invoice by row),

by Payment (showing each invoice payment by row),

by Return & Credit Memo (showing each CM, Customer Return, Invoice Return, and Refund Receipt by row),

or by Prepayment & Miscellaneous (showing each Prepayment, Refund Prepayment, Settlement Payout, or Miscellaneous Transaction by row).

From Customer Management Screen

In ERP, go to CRM > Customers.

Search by Customer # or click Apply to see all or use the search function to locate a specific customer. Click on the customer you'd like to view.

From the Customer Management screen, click on the Account tab.

Scroll down to the Transactions section. Click Detail if you want to see more detailed information.

That will take you to the Customer Account Inquiry (see above).

Back in Customer Management, you can also use the Assistant Window sidebar to view high level credit information under Details.

From Invoice Management Screen

You can also view this information from the Invoice management screen. Go to Sales > Invoice Processing.

Search for a specific invoice or click Apply to view all. Click on the invoice you want to view.

From the Invoice Management screen, the Transactions tab will show you the entire transaction history of that particular customer. You can click Transaction List for an even more detailed view. 

That will take you to the Customer Account Inquiry (see above).
