Why is the price wrong on my sales order or invoice?
Here’s an overview of common reasons prices might not match your expectations—plus how to fix them.
If you’re seeing unexpected pricing on a sales order, there are three common reasons:

Your system may be set to use the Last Selling Price—which overrides current pricing logic with whatever the customer paid last time.

You may have pasted line items from Excel without including the price, which causes the price column to appear blank.
- You did a price update after the order or invoice was created and the record shows the previous price.
Note: Price updates will not retroactively apply to existing S/Os and invoices. If you want them updated, you will need to do so manually, following the steps in this guide.
