How do I use the bulk price update tool?

Here is how you can manage bulk price updates based on changing costs or material values.

Regardless of how you are calculating your adjustment, you will start in ERP and go to Inventory > Price Update Management.

From here, you can filter your results to just change certain items or click Apply for all of your SKUs to appear.

Under the Expression tab, toggle to "on" the prices you wish to update: MSRP, Wholesale, and/or Dropship.

There are a few ways you can adjust your prices: from different costs, or from a change in a material value.

Change in Cost: Average, Base, or Unit

From the Price Update Type dropdown, select which cost you want to use. This will use that current cost as the basis from which to calculate your new price.

You can select Average:

Base:

Or Unit:

Multipliers

If your wholesale price is twice your cost, you want to add a multiplier of 2 in the Multiply By 1 column next to WSP. If your MSRP is twice your wholesale, you want to add a multiplier of 4 in the Multiply By 1 column next to MSRP. Same rule applies for Dropship Price.

Add By

If you add a specific amount to each price, you can add that in the Add By 1 column. For example - your wholesale price is always the cost +$50 or MSRP is 3x the cost + $75. Same options apply for Dropship Price.

Note: "By 1/2/3" doesn't affect the multiplier or value being added. Rather, it numbers the multiplier rules (you can add up to three multiplier rules and up to three addition rules). So, Multiply by 2 means the second multiplier rule.

Go to the List tab and click Calculate > Yes. You will see the new prices appear. Click Save.

Change in Material Value

From the Price Update Type dropdown, select From Material Value Change. This will use that change as the basis from which to calculate your new price.

Go to the List tab and click Action > Bulk Update New Material Price.

This will pull up a list of all of your available materials. Toggle "on" the material(s) that you wish to update. Enter the new price. Click OK.
