Why isn’t my product image showing in ERP?

Here is a troubleshooting guide to figuring out why your images may not be loading into ERP from PIM.

Sometimes, even after uploading a product image in PIM, the image may not appear in ERP. This guide walks through the most common causes and how to resolve them.

Check if the image was added in PIM

  • Go to the PIM module.

  • Search for the product using Style, Substyle, or SKU.

  • Click the item to open the product detail view.

  • Go to the Images tab.

  • Confirm the image appears next to the label Main.

Note: Images should always be added in PIM, not ERP. PIM is the system of record and syncs to ERP.

Confirm the PIM-to-ERP sync

  • Images added in PIM will sync to ERP during the nightly system sync.

  • If you just added the image today, wait until the next day to check ERP.

Note: The sync goes from PIM to ERP only. Images added in ERP do not sync back to PIM.

 

Manually trigger a sync using Reload Product Images

If you need the image to appear in ERP immediately (e.g., for printing a report), you can manually trigger the image sync.

  • Go to the ERP, go to Inventory > Product Management.

  • Search for the item(s) you wish to add images to and click Apply.
  • Select the items and click Action.

  • About 2/3 of the way down the dropdown menu, click Reload Product Images.

This method is helpful if you’ve confirmed the image exists in PIM but can’t wait for the nightly sync.

Tip: If you want to quickly identify what items are missing images in ERP, expand your search so that all results are showing and click the column header Images twice. This will surface all the items with no image code so you can quickly select them and reload images from PIM. Avoid using ERP for manual uploads

  • You should only add images directly in ERP if the PIM-to-ERP sync is failing and you urgently need the image for a report.

  • You cannot bulk upload images in ERP.

  • ERP does not support uploading images at the Style or Substyle level—only individual SKUs.

Note: If you need images for materials, services, or other non-sellable SKUs, still upload them in PIM. These won’t sync to sales channels unless you manually add them.
